What do i do with my daffodils now they are dead?

All my daffs have now died and not being much of a gardner i'm not sure what i am supposed to do with them. Do i just cut off the heads or do i cut all the leaves as well. Any help would be much appreciated.

What do i do with my daffodils now they are dead?
In Holland, where they produce daffodils and tulips on the industrial scale, they mow them when they are past their sell by date..
Reply:bury or cremate them
Reply:Remove the dead flower heads or the plant will put energy into producing seeds. Don't touch the leaves for at least eight weeks after flowering or they will not produce flowers very well next year.
Reply:Yes do as nexus6 says, as his is the right one
Reply:nexus6 is right
Reply:Just dead head the flowers ,.leave the leaves for now. The plant is now forming next years flowers in the bulbs. Don't cut off the leaves for about two months. Some people tie them up to be tidy but this does not help the bulb ripening. The leaves will go brown, it's OK to cut them off then.
Reply:Cut off the dead bits, dig up thebulbs amd store them in the refrigerator wrapped in mewspaper until they need to be planted next season.
Reply:Take the heads of the flowers off, bend the leaves and tie them with a leaf or string and leave to die. Once brown you can cut them off, some people leave the bulbs in for next year, but I take mine out put them in a tray and cover with paper and leave in a shed until next year when you can replant them.
Reply:just tie a knot in the leaves and they will die and whither away
