Can bulbs be planted after they start to "sprout"?

I found a bag of bulbs, they look like they are growing, can I plant them?

Crocus, tulip, daffodils. In CT.

I would think that you could. In fact, I tend to let my bulbs sprout to make sure that I plant them correctly (with the sprouts pointing skyward).
Reply:Yup.. I mean, as long as its warm enough out for them to grow and what not.
Reply:yes the can just make sure you plant the roots down in the ground
Reply:Yes, you can. You may not get the quality of bloom you ordinarily would had they been planted in time, but you will get some blooms.
Reply:ofcourse you can
