Why are daffodils sometimes tricky flowery plants to have around?

Because the stupid Dutch bump into them in the middle of the night.

To be honest, you're better off having "tulips on your organ." Boom boom, I am sadly laughing at my own joke.
Reply:They dont like growing indoors :*(
Reply:Daffodils are usually ok for a few years and then they need to be lifted and the bulbs have to be seperated in order to ensure a new growth the following year!

A daffodil grows a new bulb every year and when they get too many then the plant only gives you leaves but no blooms so this is why you need to seperate them!

This process also gives you more Daffs!

Hope I explained this properly and good luck!
Reply:Daffodils only flower early in the year between Feb and March - very tricky to have around in May or June but a better chance of seeing them earlier in December or Jan if you grow bulbs in cool room indoors.
